I love this version of iced lemon tea made with fresh ingredients. It is healthier and has no added substances. In Bangalore, nowadays weather are getting warmer, more warmer weather!!!!! I need to sip drink every time so am enjoying more and more drinks here!!
This is so quick recipe to assemble and it’s not too much more effort. I generally ask everybody, are you a tea drinker or a coffee drinker, I’m tea drinker but sometimes drink coffee when I have cold cough or for a change or mostly during rainy season! I start my day with tea and end my day with tea.HOW TO MAKE SPARKLING ICED TEA? The first step is to make a brewed tea, as you would do in a normal tea. Next you will want to let this brewed tea cool down completely. Because we are going to be mixing the iced tea with carbonated water, it’s important not to use ice to cool it down. Once the tea has cooled, combine it in a 50/50 ratio with a very cold water of choice OR This can be a club soda. Finally, garnish as desired fruit slice or slice of lemon. You could top it up with just chilled water or sparkling water (that is of your choice), but I urge you to try it with sparkling water. I love fizz into my drink, loved it and I promise you will also love it! I have tried lots of sparkling drinks at home and its gonna be a hit all the time my kitchen like sparkling raw mango drink, pineapple punch sodaA brilliant bright lemony beverage is life's most noteworthy joys. 😍😍 And having a jar of lemon tea concentrate in your fridge is literally like finding gold on a particularly warm day. Make it today and drink up!If you are feeling a little fruity then you would add some slices of peach and a strawberry or slice of orange goes also very well. Or if you are feeling a little feisty then add a shot of brandy or vodka. You can try more summer recipes from my blog like cool watermelon slushie, cantaloupe granita, pineapple mint aqua fresca (an mexican drnk), aam panna, Today I am sharing a sparkling lemon tea, but you can easily make this into a normal lemon iced tea without sparkling water.Servings : 4 personsCourse : Beverages / DrinkCuisine: Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten Free/Nut FreeAuthor : Jolly MakkarINGREDIENTS :Black tea bags – 3 to 4 numbersWhite raw sugar - ½ cup (120g)Boiling water – 300 ml about full 1 glassJuice of 1 large lemonsKinley Club soda / Sparkling waterIce cubes and lemon slices, to servePREPARATION METHOD :1. First boil the water. Add sugar and boiling water to a 1 liter mason jar.2. Add tea bags into jar, Steep for 3-5 minutes. Check notes!!3. Remove tea bags and add lemon juice. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate the lemon tea concentrate until ready to use.4. To serve, place a handful of ice cubes into drinking glasses.add chilled lemon tea concentrate and sparkling water and mix well.5. Garnish with lemon slices.Notes**1. Don’t over steep your tea. If you like strong iced tea then use more teabags, don’t just leave it for longer. Leaving it for longer gives you a bitter unpleasant tea. 2. Don’t squeeze the teabags when you remove them, again this can lead to the bitter taste.3. You can reduce the sugar to ¼ cup, I love my tea sweet so I used it ½ cupThis recipe is a part of A to Z recipe challenge, this is my 11th post for the challenge.
