Verdict on South Beach Shark Club
South Beach Shark Club is a documentary exploring the times from 1970s Miami Beach to the modern day. This gets to show us how the boom in shark fishing took off and the fishers would fight for the best spot. It became a competition to see who could have the biggest catch each and every day.
This gets to show us how one man became a legend in the field, but it was at a cost. It shows how people have been raised and remain in that system for decades. We see how important it was for the group of people involved and it stopped them falling into the wrong side of the law.
However, this does expose how overfishing could have had a lasting effect. It highlights how important it is to these people without thinking about any consequences long term they are creating.
Final Thoughts – South Beach Shark Club has moments of interesting ideas behind the fishing.
