Sound of Music 2016 Announcement

Fresh off the internet… Sound of Music has announced their lineup for their June 11th Kick Off and it includes The Cult / Headstones / The Glorious Sons. It’s an impressive list to kick off year 37 and we can hardly wait to hear the rest of the acts

The Cult has a brand new album, Hidden City, coming out on February 5th. Pre-order is already available and you can get yourself three of the tracks while we wait. Order from The Cult’s website and there are exclusive items including a white vinyl version of the album. The band has been putting out albums since the early eighties and lead singer Ian Astbury has said before that they were done releasing music, but we’re really glad they’re not! I’ve never seen this band live and I’d love to add them to my list.

Headstones was one of my favorite live shows of 2015 and any time I can be part of  their crowd, I’m in. Hugh and the boys never fail to put on a great show you can bet you’ll be happy you turned up for this one. Another amazing band that we had the privilege of seeing last year was The Glorious Sons . They’ve been making a lot of noise and we’re happy they’ll be on this bill. Their current album, The Union was released in October 2015 and continues to get lots of radio play. I love the energy this band brings and if you haven’t seen them yet, you should.
