Peel off masks are loved by many while some don’t like them. I personally like them and whenever given an opportunity to try I never say NO. In this post, I am going to review Bio-collagen gold peel off mask from a popular Indian brand soulflower.
I love their Tea Tree oil. It works so well on inflammation, pimple, and help in suppressing it. Their cold-pressed oils are really good and worth trying for face and hair.

How is the Packaging?
The moment you hold the container in your hand, you will get a very luxe feel. The mask comes in a heavy glass golden container. The brand has given a super cute brush for better application of peel off mask. Applying peel off masks can become a bit messy sometimes and this brush really makes the application process easier.
The container comes in highly secured outer cardboard packaging. I totally loved the entire packaging and the feel of this product.
I am a sucker for classy or cute packaging and they left no stone unturned to impress me. But the mask has something else that was even more impressive and WOW about it. Keep reading to know 
How is the color, fragrance and consistency?
As the name suggests, this is gold in color and the consistency is semi-runny. It has a good aqua-type fragrance. The fragrance is mild.
What’s the surprising thing inside the mask? 
When I opened it and swatched it, I found sparkles, glitters and stars in them. These things excite me and I was wow-ing like a happy kid. I mean I know masks that have such sparkles but this one was a total surprise for me. No, the stars and sparkles did not prick or cause any harm to my skin.
How to use?
- Stir before use if required
- Apply a generous, even layer to clean skin with brush, avoiding eyebrows and hairline
- Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes
- Once completely dry, gently peel off from edges
- Rinse off excess with warm water
- Use twice a week
- Clean brush after use with soap and water and air dry
How is this soulflower Bio collagen gold peel off mask? Is it effective? What does it do?
I was so excited that I applied it on my face & my husband’s face immediately after unboxing for my Instagram story. The brush was convenient to apply it on the face precisely.
After application it gave us a cooling sensation on the skin which we totally loved. It was kind of soothing. After 30 minutes, I peeled my mask off and washed off my face and to my surprise my skin was GLOWING 
But for my husband the glow was not that evident. It was like he has cleansed his face. The bumps on his face were softened and this overall facial skin felt soft.
It does remove dirt and mildly exfoliates the skin. The mask is not at all harsh while peel off and is suitable for all skin types. However if you have irritated skin and lot of active acne then I would advise you to skip this. Soulflower peel off mask was hydrating enough that I didn’t notice any dryness or stretchy feel post washing off the mask nor did I feel the need for any moisturizer.
This product has Bio-collagen and I was worried about the collagen source as I am halal conscious when it comes to skincare & makeup. The brand confirmed to me that they are halal and vegan.
This face mask doesn’t just work on your face but also works on your mood, lifts it up with sparkles & glitters in them. They give you an overall experience to remember.
And yes, apply a semi-thick layer for better results. Don’t apply too thick not too thin. If you apply too thick then it is going to take forever to dry
On the packaging, it says to use it at night, every day for better results. However, I would suggest you use a maximum of thrice a week.

This will not help in removing blackheads & whiteheads
I don’t know if this is a con or not but I would like to highlight once again that it didn’t give instant brightness on my husband face. So definitely the result varies. Every product works different for different people. But it hydrates and firm the skin.
Final verdict
I totally loved it and I would highly recommend this to all skin types except for people who have lots of active acne on their face. It gives glow, has amazing ingredients in it, hydrates the skin, makes it feel baby soft, and removes oil & dirt. However, I would suggest you to grab this product when it’s on sale to get at a better price. If you like trying peel off masks then you can put this in your cart to have some extra fun while masking.
