The firm is aiming for a December launch for PlayStation 4 in China, according to a recent report.
Bloomberg is reporting that Sony will start packaging PlayStation 4 consoles intended to be sold in China.
Document filing on the website of the China Pilot Free Trade Zone – which was later confirmed by a Tokyo-based Sony spokesperson – mention that Sony is looking to package and sell 200,000 consoles annually in the region.
Sony has made it clear before that it intends to sell PlayStation 4 in China, but did not outline any specific launch plans. MCVUK adds that Sony already has established business ventures with Chinese firms for both hardware and software, in China’s free trade zone.
