Good news if the bland design of the current Sony Smartwatch 3 doesn't appeal to you: Sony has a nicer looking model. The company debuted a stainless steel edition of the Smartwatch 3 at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show on Monday, along with a way for current Smartwatch 3 owners to switch bands.

I recently bought a [company]Sony[/company] Smartwatch 3 even though there are more elegant [company]Google[/company] Android Wear devices to choose from. I went for function over form, picking the Sony for its integrated GPS radio - a first for Android Wear. But I'll admit the plastic strap isn't ideal for nights out on the town. The newer stainless steel model is and goes on sale globally next month. Sony hasn't specified a price yet.
