I’ll be honest with you guys. I’m no expert in digital cameras and I sure as hell have no idea about what these lenses has to do with the picture quality. But, one thought came to my mind when I first saw this new Sony RX10 camera – that is one hell of a giant lens.
Sony has just unveiled a series of digital cameras and the RX10 was one of them. This $1300 camera features a superzoom 20.2-megapixel, 1-inch, backside illuminated sensor with a big 24-200mm constant aperture f/2.8 optically stabilized lens. Sony claims to bring a solution to common superzoom camera low-light image quality issues with this new X10 camera as it gets powered by Sony’s latest in-camera processor.

This camera is not really a device for professionals, but it delivers much better features and picture quality than most digital cameras in the market today, at a very affordable price. Sony RX10 will be available in Sony retail stores starting this November.
