Sony Can’t Keep up with High Demand for the PS4 in Europe

Sony hasn’t yet caught up with launch demand for the PS4 in Europe, SCE UK managing director Fergal Gara told TrustedReviews.
“We are still dealing with the day one market,” he said. Gara said Sony is “very close” to being in a “full supply situation”, but admitted that it’s not there yet.
The situation is best in the UK, Gara said, with other European territories like Germany selling out of all stock week to week. While Gara believes the supply issue may have cost the company some sales, he noted that although there’s no official update on sales figures the PS4 “is still selling, and selling very well”.
“Anyone who may have said ‘forget about it, I will leave it for a while’, I think we have enough of a story now to say to them that they should reassess,” the executive said.
