Sometimes Your Hands Are Your Best Tools

Let’s say you want to finish your basement. Maybe you’re thinking that you want to put carpeting down on top of that concrete floor. Think long and hard about that because if you change your mind down the road and want to change the carpeting, know this:

Ripping up carpeting that’s been glued down to concrete is really difficult!

There is a machine that can help pull it up, but if you don’t own one or yours is busted (like the one where I work), then you only have two tools to help you get it done. 1) the fingers on your left hand, and 2) the fingers on your right hand. It also helps if you’ve got upper body strength.

Tearing up Carpet
It’s a long, hard job pulling up carpeting from concrete, which means that if you want to put carpeting down on concrete, you should think long and hard.
