Some Things I Think I Think

1. Sidney Crosby is the best player on the planet. If he had played during the Wayne Gretzgy era when he was NEVER touched, we might be saying "Wayne who?"
2. As good as this team is, they still lack in some areas. Again, they can't do anything with a 5 on 3. Come playoff time, that has to be fixed. Special teams need more work.
3. Guess we need a goon. I see far to many players plant themselves in front of our goaltender without being challenged.
4. Brooks Orpik just doesn't seem right to me. I don't see the physical aggressiveness that we've become used to.
5. Bylsma's system is just fine. Those calling for him being replaced should lay off the Red Bull.
6. Hard to find a better line in hockey than Sid, Duper and Kunitz.
7. I judge a player by his ability, not by his salary. Jordan Staal is a terrific hockey player, but Brandon Sutter is equally as good.
8. Beau Bennett is going to be really good. He has great hands and plays a very smart game.
9. Don't understand Engeland being scratched so much when we need that physical presence on the ice. Same for Despres. He looks like a keeper.
10. MAF is still a top NHL goalie. He was always known as giving up some soft goals but making highlight reel saves at the same time. While he's playing a solid game, I haven't seen that spectacular save from him in a long time.
