Somewhere, a child is missing his mother, and in the house two doors down, a little girl is holding her fathers picture, while her Mommy’s upstairs checking her phone for his call. Whenever a Soldier deploys, so does their family. During this Holiday season, may we all be thankful for our blessings. I saw this picture and my heart broke. Not only for the families of Soldiers, but because this little boy pictured here looks eerily like my son Isaac. For all the pain and heartache we have shared together, we have never had to face what military families face. Please help this Christmas season if you can.
