We’re officially about a month away from the start of fall and already the air is beginning to cool. NYC duo Jack + Eliza go fully into denial with their new video for “Secrets” by imagining the most perfect summer day possible circa 1973. Filming the video in Super8, the dreamy beach sequences enhance their already summery sound, leaving us wishing for a rewind button on the past few months. Real life lovers of beach living (Eliza surfs!), their sound easily settles into surf pop influenced by bands of the 60s and 70s — it’s like The Mamas and The Papas with a modern twist. Drenched in hazy nostalgia and sunshine, the video for “Secrets” might just have you calling out and heading to the beach while you still can.
