I think he should stay until (or if) he proves he doesn't belong. I can't recall a bad start when he fills in, so let him have the spot. Shows good control with movement and doesn't seem awed at all.

Personally, I would slot him ahead of Volquez.
He has done everything asked of him and everything he can to stick around. He just needs the front office to agree.
