From Granville Island Brewing out of Vancouver comes their new "So-Cal Style IPA" the latest in their Small batch brews. The beer pours an orange colour with a white head. The aroma consists of tropical fruit, fruity, syrupy and floral hops. The flavour is of tropical fruit, pineapple juice, fruit candies, sweetness, lemon, pine, resin and bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 7.8% with an IBU of 80. While I don't think I would consider this a So-Cal style IPA it was enjoyable.
