About
Brooklyn band Snowmine is hand’s down one of our favorite discoveries of the past few years. They infectious live show is something to behold, as is their 2011 debut LP, Laminate Pet Animal. The band has been hard at work over the past couple years and appear ready to unleash a collection of amazing new tunes into the world, two of which they recorded with us during our recent Buzzsession. Watch “Curfew” (which was already released as a single last year) and “Further Along Farther Away” below and download the recordings for free under the videos.
‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs. This Buzzsession was shot at Degraw Sound, a Brooklyn recording studio on the Park Slope/Gowanus border, owned and operated by producer/engineer/musician Ben Rice (Blackbells, The Mooney Suzuki).
