More on Skincare
Liquorice, the root extract is infused with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties which help in maintaining a flawless skin. It contains an active compound glabridin that prevents skin darkening caused by sun damage. Moreover, it fades away pigmentation and sun damage and leaves you a skin that is brighter, clearer and hydrated.
Mulberry, the super food regulates the process of melanin synthesis, which helps in the formation of a protective pigment found in inner layers of the epidermis, further absorbing the UV rays and inhibiting their penetration. It reduces the dark spots and scars and helps achieve a clear and radiant glow.
Both of these active ingredients are blended together in VLCC Skin Whitening Day Cream to treat dull, dark and lifeless skin, caused due to melanin accumulation and sun exposure. Wear it during the day to prevent re-occurrence of dark spots and pigmentation and to keep glowing. It retails for Rs.450/- for 50g

My Review on Snigdha Skin Whitening Day Cream
VLCC Snigdha Skin Whitening Day Cream comes in a plastic tub packaging. The cream is pearl white in colour and it is neither too thick nor runny in consistency. I have combination skin type which becomes oily in monsoons & this cream blends really well on my skin. It has a pleasant fragrance that lasts for some time and not much longer.
The cream is quite light on the skin once applied, but when the weather is humid like these days in monsoon, I tend to feel greasiness on my T-zone especially on my nose. I haven’t used this in dry weather yet. So, I will keep you guy’s updated about how it works on my skin in those weather conditions.
Other than its texture, I did notice some amount of glow on my skin. My skin looked more radiant. I can’t say much about whitening effect yet because it does take the time to show the visible results on tanned skin or dark spots. I do need to use it for a longer time to notice the real difference. It contains SPF 25, which is a must have for the Indian weather and Sun Protection.
Also, this cream does not leave any white cast which is a plus point for sure.
My final thoughts on the product…
Nice creamy Texture & mild Fragrance
Hydrates the skin really nicely
Absorbs into the skin really well
Has SPF 25/Sun Protection
Not heavy on skin
Doesn’t leave a white cast
I hope the “Snigdha Skin Whitening Day Cream with SPF 25 Review” has been helpful.
