Smash Nude Food Movers Mini & Regular Rubbish Free Lunchbox Reviews!

By Pepper Bento

Hey there everyone!

Today I have a couple of really awesome lunch boxes to show you.

People who have been following me for a while might remember me doing a review of some really cool stackable pots by Nude Food Movers.

Well today I’m back with a couple of their latest products and I have to tell you, they are just stuffed with features!

I decided to review these two together because though there are differences, there aren’t enough to warrant another post.

So we have the Mini Rubbish Free Lunch Box and just plain Rubbish Free Lunch Box.

You can tell the difference in size straight away and this sort of has me leaning towards liking the mini box better just because of size.

Nude Food Movers Mini Rubbish Free Lunchboxes Size

The regular lunch box is REALLY big which might be a pain when you have to take it with you to work or school BUT there is a “skin” you can buy to carry it in which has a handle.

Unfortunately the mini box hasn’t had a skin made for it so maybe a small fold-able handle somewhere might have been a nice feature?

The mini box would fit nicely into a standard sized bag so it’s not too much of an issue but if I had to be really critical….!

While I was opening these I noticed something a little annoying, for me anyway!
I don’t know about you, maybe I’m just being weird but since all of the information about the lunch box is on the outer sheets, would you want to keep them for reference?

With this, all the helpful information is on stickers so it’s a lot harder to keep them for reference on whether they can be dishwashed and so on.

Now it’s really starting to look nude!

Starting with the mini box it has a really cute “NFM” logo on the clip making it seem like a lot of effort has gone into this, I don’t know about you but I love little touches that didn’t need to be there but show that extra care.

Inside there is a little leaflet showing you all of the really cool stuff you can get in this series and in fact it shows a “Mini cool skin” which could mean I was wrong about there not being a bag for the mini box though it wasn’t advertised on the packaging like the regular one.

On the other side of the leaflet it mentions signing up for their newsletter to get ideas on what to pack for lunch but you don’t need that, you have me haha!

Underneath the leaflet is a really interesting contraption.

With this, you put your sandwich on the top and anything else underneath, I imagine putting the toppings that might get soggy inside the sandwich would be good though the packaging mentions you can also put two sandwiches inside by putting one underneath and one on top.

In theory this also helps them fit snugly and securely without ending up with a crushed sandwich and unlike last weeks little experiment, I’m sure a sandwich will actually fit in here!

It also has small grooves cut out on two sides on the box, I can only guess this is to keep the little legs of the sandwich suspender (that’s what I’m calling it now) from slipping all over the place though it could just be to make it pretty!

Inside the other compartment are a couple of good sized pots for things like yoghurt, chopped up fruit and vegetables or even sauces if you like since they are “spill proof”.

I like how these little pots have flaps to make them easy to pull up which also fit beside each other with one flap being on the left and the other on the right.
It’s pretty and it give the pots less room to move and misbehave!

Of course if you don’t like the pots there is plenty of room left without them where you can put almost anything!

Now for the big daddy!

This box is a lot like the mini box but it does have some added features I’d like to show you.

Inside the middle compartment there is a warning saying the lid isn’t removable.
I can only assume the other lids are removable on both the mini and this regular box but I couldn’t for the life of me get them to come loose with my mini little girl hands.

If and when you can get these off it would be a lot easier to clean, especially in a dishwasher which this is happy to be cleaned in on the top shelf.

Also this can be microwaved though according to the packaging you need to “Release lid when microwaving”.
I’m not sure if that means remove the lids, which in case of the regular box might be a problem or just keep the lids open which should be good old common sense.

Also, the whole box and everything inside it is BPA free just in case you were worried!

Nude Food Movers Rubbish Free Lunchbox Apple

Just like the mini box this has a sandwich suspender and two mini pots to hold whatever you fancy!

What makes this different to the mini box though is a good sized rectangle section they have added.

It can fit in two very decently sized items like this small apple though if that’s too small for you, the divider can be whipped away and leaves you with a nice space to fit in a couple of small bananas maybe, a nice salad? The possibilities are great!

All in all I just love these boxes!
There is plenty of room in both the mini and regular boxes for everything you might need with some really cool features added.
If you don’t like the features, they come out fuss free and easily to suit just about anyone!

If you have an appetite that will eat a sandwich or two, a yoghurt, some nuts, an apple and an orange for example the regular box could be the box for you.

If your appetite can get through a sandwich or two, and a couple of snacks or a side salad the mini box would be great.

Whichever way you go you’ll be getting a great box, the only downside I can see is that the regular box is on the large size and might be a lot to carry around even with a bag available specifically.

Just A Note:

In my last review for Nude Food Movers boxes, viewers were finding them very hard to get.
I found these boxes in my local Sainsbury’s on a 25% off offer, you might want to get them quickly before they are gone!
