Smallest Crowd Ever For A Steelers Game At Heinz Field Tonight?

There’s been plenty of chatter this week about the ticket prices for tonight’s Steelers-Bengals game at Heinz Field, with our official ticket partner, Tiq Iq having seats for as low as $17 in the 500 section.
With that being said, will tonight set a mark for the lowest crowd ever at Heinz for a football game? Many say it will.
The fans are in apathy mode after last weeks loss to the Dolphins that was the death blow for the club to make the postseason.
Last week vs Miami, even with the team still holding hope for a shot at the postseason, the club saw it’s second-smallest crowd ever for a Steelers game at Heinz, 52,489 with 13,000 no-shows.
Tonight, with some snow possible and the temps being down to about 16, how many fans will sit this one out and sit at home and watch on TV instead?
My guess is we’ll see a crowd of about 45,000, which will set the mark for the smallest crowd, which means about 20,000 will take the night off.
Ouch.
