You may remember that I went for a particularly delicious Afternoon Tea with Antipodes before Christmas. It was delightful. They have quickly became one of my favorite natural skincare brands to have a little pamper with...
My love for the brand began with the Aura Manuka Honey Mask (£22.99). I once gave my Grandma a little facial and used this as a mask towards the end and she was thrilled at the results, commenting on how soft and smooth her skin felt. It is a really gentle mask, packed with natural ingredients as all Antipodes products are, and is a real treat to the skin to combat a number of issues. The creaminess and antibacterial properties work together to firstly draw any impurities from the skin, then hit it with moisture to rehydrate. I always feel regenerated after using this - cliche, but it's a 'must have' for anyone who is skincare obsessed!
The prettiest little tin that I ever did set my sights on is the Saviour Skin Balm (£28.99), I just bloomin' love it! This product is multi-use and can be applied anywhere on the body for various reasons and to aid some skin conditions. I have found it to work particularly well on my excema as well as any dry patches that may pop up after an intense pot washing stint at work. It also works an absolute dream on chapped and sore lips, ideal for this wintery, snowy weather we have found ourselves in here in the North East!
I am usually not one for an eye cream. I may use one when I am feeling all fancy and having a 10-step skincare routine on a Sunday night, but most of the time, I tend to just give it a miss. However, it is definitely something that I should perhaps take more time for. The Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream (£25.99) is lightweight, soothing and gives the perfect cooling sensation after a busy day to mend those tired eyes. It is fragrant free as to not irritate, and over all cause any harm - because we don't want that now, do we?
Before popping off into my dreams to sleep, a good slathering of the Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream (£33.99) can really boost skins moisture overnight so that it is all plump and ready for the day. Avocado isn't just good for you to eat, but it works bloody well on the skin also. The nourishing product restores the skin overnight injecting all sorts of vitamins and antioxidants into your face (Side Note: No Needles Involved). If moisture and hydration is something that you are lacking this Winter, then a heavily thick-set cream like this may be just what you are looking for.
All aboard the pampering train - toot-toot!! Knowing that what you are putting onto your skin is natural and organic is always a bonus too, gotta love being friendly to the environment and all that. I would love for you to share below (or on Twitter!) what brands you go to when having a pamper night - share your favorite products with me!
