I find that with skincare, even if you lust after a product, sometimes when you try it it's just not meant to be. However, other times you can come across those products where it's love at first application, and these are just a few that I've found recently that have worked brilliantly for me and my skin.
The Elemis Cleansing Balm* comes with a mini spatula to scoop the product out - major pro for all you hygiene buffs out there. It has a rich consistency meaning you only need the tiniest bit of product to smooth all over the skin. The balm helps to melt away any excess makeup and give the skin a deep cleanse. I've been loving using this, more than I thought I would as I'd tried another Elemis cleanser and not got on too well with it, but this one gets my thumbs up. After cleansing I've been head over heels once again for the Lush Tea Tree Toner. Featured many a time here on Thumbelina Lillie and with good reason. If you're prone to blemishes and irritated skin, this is ideal to spritz all over to calm and refresh. This is my third bottle of the stuff and it's perfect for morning and night use - I can't get enough of it.
I've really gotten into the habit of using face masks a couple of nights a week and I've been reaching for The Body Shop's Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask* over all my other masks recently. I thought I would hate the smell of this, but it's actually rather calming. It's obvious when this has dried as the mask changes color and you can't move your face! It totally draws out any impurities and general nastiness whilst balancing the oils; After I use this I feel totally refreshed. Sometimes those impurities can't totally been drawn out by a mask, so I've been using the Origins Super Spot Remover to tackle the tough ones. It's the teeniest small bottle of gel containing my favourite, salicylic acid, to help remove blemishes. I see huge results overnight such as reduced redness and the actual size of the spot, this, ladies and gentlemen, is golden.

So that's a few things that I've been bloomin' loving recently. Let me know if you've tried any of them out or if after this post, you've been swayed to try one? I take pride in my skin and these products have really been helping me to keep on track!
