Skincare | Current Skincare Favourites #1Skincare | Current Skincare Favourites #1Skincare | Current Skincare Favourites #1I love hearing about other's skincare favourites, their secret gems that they like to share with everyone else. I thought I would do a collective post today showcasing some skincare treats that I've been really enjoying lately...
As I really enjoy an oil cleanse as my first, I have been reaching for Una Brennan Superfacialist Vitamin C Skin Renew Cleansing Oil (£10.99) most evenings because of how easily it can remove make-up. The oil smells beautifully of oranges and is easy on the eyes, which is great for someone like me who wears a lot of eyeliner most days. The Vitamin C packed product leaves the skin feeling softer and glowing, although I'll always go in with a second cleanse afterwards. Next up is the Pixi Glow Tonic (£18) which I have raved about previously here. It's an alcoholic free toner that, as the name suggests, helps give a glow to the skin. I love using this on an evening as the next morning my face feels and looks more healthy, radiant and all-around refreshed. If you haven't tried this yet, it's definitely something worth giving a go. I stopped using manual exfoliators a while back and it wasn't until I introduced one back into my routine that I realised how much my skin missed and benefited from using one. The Yes To Tomatoes Pore Scrub* (£9) is a real gentle exfoliant, packed full of teeny mango seeds. It helps in the removal of any dead and dry skin whilst containing salicylic acid for help combating any blemishes - win/win!
As a total treat for my skin, every other week I have been adoring using the Antipodes Manuka Honey Mask* (£23). I remember Lily Pebbles constantly singing this products praises over the past few years and she has done it just the justice that it deserves. It is intensively hydrating whilst smelling like heaven for a total spa-like facial without doing all the work. This mask is slowly becoming my favorite one to use... Finally we have a product that I am just about needing to repurchase because I have given it so much love, and it's the Trilogy Rosehip Oil (£16.50). Known for many things, I love using this before bed to help reduce the appearance of spot scarring and the difference it can make, just overnight, is nothing short of a miracle. I have gotten several people using this product and all have them have claimed a huge difference. It must be magic, right?
So they are five of my current skincare loves, of all price ranges - something for everyone! Let me know in the comments if you have tried any of these, and what your thoughts are? Or perhaps you're thinking of picking something up? Thanks for reading!
