Classic heavy rock is alive and well in Newcastle Upon Tyne, home of power trio Sing Again Syren. Their latest single Cast Away covers all the bases of the guitar/bass/drums/vocals format that ruled the airwaves in the Seventies.
Eliza Lee (guitar, vocals), Hattie Steel (drums) and Laila Riley (bass) play honest, straight-up rock, channeling the sound of an era where your ass could not be saved by excessive studio tinkering and/or Auto tune. Recommended if you like Heart and Haim.
