Cleansers can be a game changer for your skin when chosen the right ones. Recently Simple Skincare was launched in India on Nykaa and I have been receiving requests to review their products. I was running out of my cleanser so I picked simple kind to skin refreshing facial wash. Their products are on a pretty affordable range. If you have oily, dry, normal or sensitive skin then keep on reading.
There were two types of cleansers but since I have oily skin I wanted to try this particular one.

How to use it?
Take a small quantity and gently massage the face for more than 30 seconds and then wash off with water.
My experience with Simple Refreshing facial wash
How is the packaging?
It comes in a pretty huge green colored plastic tube with flip open cap. TBH I didn’t expect it to be coming in such big tube compared to the price it is available at.
How are the color and consistency of Simple Refreshing facial wash?
It is a gel face wash so the color is completely transparent. Since it is free from artificial perfume and color this cleanser is colourless and odorless. The consistency is a bit slimy and resembles a lot like runny aloe vera gel.
How is the facial wash?
Since it is 100% soap free this cleanser doesn’t lather much. It’s very gentle on the skin and removes all the dirt effectively. The best thing is that it doesn’t strip off the excess oil from the face nor does it make the skin feel dry and stretchy.
It’s extremely gentle, calms down the skin and super hydrating. It’s suitable for all skin types except very oily skin. If you have sensitive skin then go for it without even thinking twice.
I had rashes on my face and this cleanser didn’t sting on my rashes and neither did it make my rashes feel dry or chapped. I totally loved it. It washes off the oil & dirt and also adds a subtle glow to the face after every wash but if you’re looking for a face wash that would give instant brightness post washing then let me break the bubble and let you know this one doesn’t do that. The formulation contains pro-vitamain B5 & Vitamin E
People with Dry and flaky skin can also use this as it is very hydrating and nourishing. It makes my skin feel soft, supple & hydrated.
I am soooo used to using a foaming cleanser that in the beginning I wasn’t satisfied post washing my face with this gel face wash. But now I have started liking it. A little amount of product is enough for a single wash. One tube would easily last for one and half months when used twice daily.
Do use a toner after using this cleanser to see the amount of dirt it takes off. There are times when I couldn’t see any dirt on my cotton pad after wiping my face with a toner. And there are times when I see my cotton pad turning dirty. (I don’t use toner regularly but I did that just to check this particular thing so that I can include in my review 
)
It keeps the face oil free for 2 hours or so but the oil secretion on the face doesn’t depend just on the cleanser but also on the products that we apply on the skin.

4.5Final Verdict
No matter what your skin type is I would highly recommend you to try this once. The price is quite reasonable and it’s worth trying. It’s gentle, hydrating, adds glow to the face and removes the dirt and impurities from the face. A must try for sensitive skin people from my side.
