Rohit Shetty's upcoming action-comedy film Simmba starring Ranveer Singh is being produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
Simmba has a fresh chemistry of Ranveer and Sara Ali Khan, who's making her debut with another December release ' Kedarnath', the film also bring Rohit and Ranveer first time together for a film, they did a TVC for Chings a few years back. The other cast of the films includes Sonu Sood, Abdul Quadir Amin, Siddarth Jadhav, Suresh Oberoi, Vrajesh Hirjee in key roles. Ajay Devgn will be seen playing a cameo with his Singham avatar. Also making a cameo appearances are stars like Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade, Arshad Warsi and Sunny Leone. Simmba is an official remake of N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Kajal Aggarwal starrer 2015 Telugu film Temper.
The film is scheduled to release on 28th December 2018.
