Swedish poppy post-punk band Shout Out Louds are in a melancholic mood on their new single, High As a Kite. Being chemically enhanced did not help much, while they try to fend off feelings about being left out and alone. With sad synths galore and the vocals are knee-deep in echo, they manage to drive on the outskirts of the mainstream. It is the lead single from their new album, House, out on February 18 via Bud Fox Recordings/Integral/PIAS.
