We weren’t exactly planning on stopping in Battle Ground. But Kid #2 asked for me to pull over because he wasn’t feeling well, I did–and that is when I noticed Shoup House Antiques and Interiors.
One glance at the balcony and really nice Greek Revival and Italianate architecture and I couldn’t get the boys in there fast enough!
Located inside a fantastic 1850 built home, everything about our visit here was a total and complete joy!

Just WOW! Everything inside this Indiana antique shop is appealingly arranged. There’s a room of nautical themed items. There’s a room of garden themed items. You’ll find kitchen stuff and linens and books too. It’s so much fun!
Our boys giggled over a crab made out of silverware. They loved looking through the nautical items. Boats, paintings, shells, maps–it fascinated them. A couple of shelves with various vintage dog things cracked them up as well.
My preferences leaned toward the vintage kitchen stuff. Oh–and the furniture! I wanted one of everything I saw inside this Tippecanoe County antique shop.
