Short Update – Competition Workout

I’m running a little fitness competition with my friends.  It’s something I highly recommend for anyone looking for motivation by the way, but that’s not the point right now.  The point is that I’m kicking ass!  Even after this weekend’s hard labor, I still managed to bench 315lbs, 10lbs off my record but still very respectable.  Good scores on the military press, leg press and lat pull down as well, which are the other three weight exercises we’re measuring.  I’m really slow on the run though, which is the area I’m trying to improve.  29 minutes for a 5k :(

Still, loving the change in routine.  It’s good to shake things up once in a while and try out a different workout routine.
