Snapdeal claimed that their new app and website design made the product discovery very easier and improved the user experience which I wanted to experience.
From past few months, I was thinking to buy a smartwatch and decided to buy it through Snapdeal app to experience the grounds in their claims. I had never used Snapdeal app on my phone in past. Initially I wasn’t much interested to download the app, but then I decided to give it a try. I was amazed to see that the new revamped app was just 7.8 mb’s which is pretty impressive for an app loaded with so many features and heavy use of high graphic resources and quality images. The size of app was much higher for the other competitors.
I installed the app and was much really shocked to see that the app was loading amazingly fast and the image loading was pretty quick. To be honest, I was not expecting this kind off experience from Snapdeal app. It looked like an improved version of Snapdeal to me.. The product discovery was made really very easy and simple. I was confused among which smartwatches to buy but the streamline and user friendly flow of the app and newly added search filters simplified the decision making for me.
I was little bit worried about my product delivery as normally the E-commerce giants deliver products really slow. However the complete transaction was done seamlessly.
I can say that Snapdeal is moving on right track and it was a good experience to Shop through them. They are realizing their customers experience issues, which we expect from every E-commerce company but are not able to cater the same properly.
