After what felt like a painfully long wait since their debut self-titled LP, Milo Greene is back with a deliciously catchy new track. “White Lies” finds the band transitioning more into the pop sphere as the only female band member, Marlana Sheetz, has us shimmying in our seats with her breezy vocals. The song feels like it holds a deep secret under its lyrics and has a distinctly retro feel (which probably has to do with how it sorta reminds me of Jennifer Paige’s “Crush”). Subtle synths, breathy “ooh’s” and bouncy drumbeats have us beyond excited for more from their upcoming album, Control, to be released on January 27th via Elektra.
