Sharp has unveiled its’ first Windows 8 tablet Mebius Pad, a 10.1-incher with 2,560×1,600 resolution IGZO panel display. Which is said to be highest resolution seen on a Windows tablet to date.
According to Engadget, “The 10.1-inch display[on Mebius Pad] is satisfyingly bright” and it sports Intel’s new Atom Z3370 SoC processor and a water-resistant body. It also has two models, a Windows 8.1 basic model with free Microsoft Office package and Windows 8.1 Pro edition, which you’ll have to pay “extra” to get the Office apps.

Still no word on a global launch of this tablet, however it’s slated to be released in Japan in 2014.
