Hellooo shimmers,
After this "share the love" interview I will be only doing one on the 20th of every month. Without further ado meet Sam.
------------------------------------------
1.What is the title of your blog and its link?
I blog over at Samwich Box and you can find it here http://samwichbox.blogspot.co.uk
2. What is your blog about?
Life, style and beauty - it goes through phases though and lately I'm crazy for beauty!
3. Why and when did you start blogging?
I started blogging on the 29th February 2012 (a leap day, fancy eh?) because after 3 years of being a total Tumblr addict I saw someone post a link to their 'blogspot' blog. I clicked and clicked and clicked; eventually I'd read at least a dozen blogs and was completely hooked.
4. Tell us a bit about yourself
I'm 17 and reside up North in Greater Manchester with an abundance of pets. I drink far too much Diet Coke, spend far too long on the internet and eat far too many jacket potatoes. That's pretty much me.
5. What is your fashion style?
My current every day look for college is collared skater dresses, cardigans, thick tights and Vans. Converse if I'm feeling crazy. Throw my trusty parka and a big scarf over the top and I'm good to go.
6. Who is your favorite fashion designer?
I'm really loving Ted Baker at the moment.
7. Are you a full time blogger, if not what else do you do?
No, but how fab would that be? I'm a full time A Level student, currently in my second year, studying English Combined, Media Studies and Philosophy.
8. Which bloggers do you look up to?
'Bigger' bloggers like Lily Melrose are obviously inspiring but bloggers who clearly adore every second of what they do and work incredibly hard to get their blogs how they want them like the lovely Lily from Red Brick Lipstick. I could honestly go on for hours - some one stop me!
9. Who are your favorite bloggers?
Gem from Gem Fatale and Zoe from Zoella immediately come to mind as I adore both and have done for a long time, but I love so many blogs that I couldn't possible give a definitive list! I shift between what I'm interested in too, some months I go crazy for OOTD then after that I could be all about reviews etc.
10. What do you like most about blogging?
The community - it's a truly inspiring, heart warming thing to be involved in!
11. What do you like the least about blogging?
The increase in copying (sometimes blatantly posting other peoples' posts!) that's been going around lately. I know it's hard, especially when you're stuck for ideas, but just let yourself be inspired and add your twist to everything you do. No copies needed!
12. How do come up with ideas of posts to write?
They come at the strangest of times so I have a memo on my phone and a little notebook for blogging - ideal for when I'm lying in bed late at night and get a sudden idea!
13. What kind of posts do you post most frequently?
Lately I'd say reviews, I've been loving it. Though what I'd really love to do is include more lifestyle and personal posts, in the near future, as I think that would be really enjoyable.
14.. What is your favorite post you have wrote?
Oooh that's another toughie! Mmm probably my mini round up of 2012 or my 'What I'd Wear To LFW' (I fell so in love with that outfit, I can't even explain.)
15. Do you have any blogging tips?
Throw yourself into it in whatever way is most comfortable for you - don't be swayed by rules etc, as long as you're not harming or offending anyone you're free to roll with it! If you find it feels forced or you're uninspired just take a break and look around other blogs, Tumblr, Pinterest etc - the ideas will soon be flooding in. Do your own thing and enjoy every minute of it.
16. What do you hope to achieve this year?
It sounds horribly non-sentimental but I'd love to have 300 followers by the time my blog's 2nd birthday rolls around next February (if GFC is still going strong by then)! Other than that I'd love to attend more events and meet ups as they're amazing experiences and amazing if you want to meet other bloggers. If you get the chance to get involved in one I'd definitely recommend it - don't just wait for an invite either, politely ask for an invite or even organize your own!
