Old-school gamers would definitely remember Shadow of the Beast , the side-scrolling game that came out in 1989. Back then it was like the Call of Duty of video games. Well, I wasn’t even born when it was released but I did play the game in my early computing days. Anyway, all the fans of this game would love to hear that Shadow of the Beast is now being rebooted and will head out exclusively for PlayStation 4.
At the GamesCom event, Sony unveiled a cinematic trailer for the reboot being developed by Heavy Spectrum, which shows a bloody fighting and slicing actions with a giant behemoth at the end. Just as VG247 says, it looks “more like God of War” but, it’s still too early to say anything about the game. More details and release dates for the game will be revealed soon.
