Sergio Bumatay III works as a freelance illustrator, graphic designer and painter from the Philippines. His work as a children’s book illustrator has garnered him numerous awards, including the Philippine Board on Books for Young People (PBBY) Alcala Illustrator’s Prize in 2007 and 2008, and an Encouragement Prize at the NOMA Concours for Picture Book Illustrations in 2008.
