We Fucking LOVE Colors

"Hello?"
"Yeah hi, the 1990s called. They want their socks back."
See Me. Bee Me. Maybe I've been lingering over the pages of Desiree's blog too much- but when I got my new vertical striped socks from We Love Colors, all I could think of was how I needed to show them off. My dress was a bit short, so I pull on some striped shorts underneath, for modesty, and then I thought: What Would Desiree Do? WTF, WWDD?

Bee-lightful: Yellow Jacket and Vertical Pins Gives My Style Some Sting.

I think Darling Desiree wouldn't bother to hide these adorable striped shorties. So, I didn't either. In fact, I hiked up my dress, making a mullet hem, and displayed in full glory, my shorts, my stems and my socks.
I realize that this outfit isn't something most women over the age of forty would want to wear, but let me tell you, that I felt so sassy wearing it- and very visible. I absolutely love this vintage yellow abstract print jacket- everything about it is great, the unique print on the bark cloth-like fabric, the way its cut- I think it's from the 1960s, but I'm really not sure. All I know is that it's makes me feel as bright as a bumble bee, and I had a lot of fun wearing it.
