Highlight Hollywood Blog is at it again, feeding desperate True Blood fans with apparent information from their “sources” on the set. Remember a couple of months back when Tommy Lightfoot Garrett told Team Eric to prepare ourselves for a different side to the viking this season. Well now he’s back. Take what he says with a pinch of salt perhaps, but as I’m completely addicted to the Viking Vampire God and will take any scrap of anything about the upcoming season I can get, I feel it my sworn duty to share it with you.
“Alexander Skarsgard went away to promote his film “Battleship” and came back and said, ‘I read this script and my mouth literally hit the floor.”
Really? Perhaps his mouth hit the floor when he saw that Holly and Arlene actually had as much screen time as Eric did? Or most likely he had just seen Nelsan Ellis latest Laffy costume (try here). As the show’s cast and crew are always in awe of what the writers dream up, I would expect nothing less than a description of bodily parts hitting the the ground.
What about Alex/Eric fans? “He’s not the dominant vampire anymore. He’s going to have someone sidetrack him this year, even more than Sookie did last year. And don’t think that things pick up where they left off last season for Bill, Sookie and Eric. Sookie has real problems now that Russell has escaped, and she won’t turn to the obvious characters this year,”
So who will be sidetracking Eric? Will it be Bill, some how managing to keep a cool head, or will it be sister Nora, out of loyalty and love?
Could this be the Eric that needs sidetracking?
And who will Sookie be turning to if not the obvious choices? Surely it won’t be her unreliable bother, Officer Jason Stackhouse (Dial 911 and ask for me) Personally I hope it’s Laffayette, he needs a decent story-line, or perhaps Sookie and Pam are finally going to form a girly bond?
Sookie might just regret emptying the love of his life down the drain.

Will any of Tommy’s ramblings come to pass? We’ll start to find out in 43 days. Don’t forget tomorrow night we have been promised an Eric and Pam Promo, fingers crossed that it looks like they have made up!
