I am happy to announce that part of the Harvey Mercheum permanent collection is on display at the main branch of the Schenectady County Public Library (SCPL) for the month of August. Long-time readers of the Mercheum blog will know that a similar display was presented in July and August of 2016. I am proud to say that almost every item displayed this time was not displayed previously!
If you visit, please note that there are two display cases, a wall unit as soon as you walk in the door on your right, and a freestanding case in the magazine and audio book section, behind the circulation desk.
This display includes a special tribute to PolyGram Records in the front case, and one to Pangburn’s Chocolates in the back case. The Pangburn’s items have not even been exhibited on this website yet!
