Once Upon a Time‘s second season is going to see the aftermath of magic coming to Storybrooke and everyone remembering who they really are, but the story’s nowhere near over yet, in the past or the present.
According to TVLine, the second episode will feature a flashback that shows “when the Evil Queen first met Rumplestiltskin.” Now that should be a good episode and it’s fortunate it’s airing early in the season—fans won’t have to wait for long for something that some were wondering about and wanted to see in the first season. There’s going to be conflict in the present in Storybrooke, and there’s no way that’s over between the two then, but seeing how it all started should give some insight into their present interaction.
That’s not all that’s coming up in Once Upon a Time season 2, as co-creator Adam Horowitz has teased that Sebastian Stan will be returning “for no fewer than three of the early batch of episodes” to reprise his Mad Hatter role “and he doesn’t just show up to say, ‘Hey, I’m still here.’ He has his own story, because his daughter still out there.” That’s good news since Stan was so good as the Mad Hatter and his storyline was clearly not finished. Will it not be until the end of his season 2 run that they resolve his storyline with his daughter? Could Regina call on him again for help?
