Sean Bones Releases 7″ and Free Download [free Mp3]

Having just released a new 7” Here Now, Sean Bones (@indianabones) is poised to do very extremely well in 2012. The title track, available for free download above, is armed with unassuming energy and a buoyant, lighthearted mesh of piano and acoustic guitar. Backed by Garret Ray and Lewis Pesacov from Fools Gold, the song is a series of incredible mid-lines — it’s catchy without being too pop-driven, well produced but understated. This release is big shift, however, from his reggae-immersed debut, RINGS, released on Frenchkiss Records in 2009. While the upbeat elements of that album are still present, they take the form of more gentle instrumentation and rock/pop drum patterns.

Be sure to pick up a 7″ soon! The limited-edition release is adorned with handmade sleeve art and packaging. Sean Bones will also be touring solo with Mates of State down to SXSW. Tour dates are below:
