I had the honor of working with the iD3 Group in Atlanta on some pre-production sculpture illustrations for a Frosty the Snowman ICE sculpture walk though. I did over 35 front, side and top illustrations for the scene and characters of a Christmas Nativity scene. Jesus, Mary, Joseph, wise men, shepherds, and lots of animals scaled to life-size to be sculpted in SOLID ICE. These are for the ice sculptures to use for size and reference. It's kinda hard to explain what it is so here is a 2 minute video of something done by the same company for Gaylord Palms.
It was to be on display this Christmas at Atlantic Station in Atlanta, but by the time I was almost done illustrating the project it was canceled due to some permitting issues. It's really too bad. I think it would would been awesome to see by all ages. I got paid for the work I did anyway and wanted to share some of them here.
I really enjoyed working on this extensive detailed project. I hope to do more of this type of work.
