spermbots

I actually couldn’t make the title any less creepier. Scientists have actually hit the rock bottom. Now they are playing around with sperm and stuff. This news comes from the folks at Institute for Integrative Nanosciences in Dresden, Germany where they claims to have created the very first “Spermbots”  which could be put to guide “individual sperm to eggs or to deliver targeted doses of drugs,” according to New Scientist.

The scientists have used some bull sperm and very small magnetic metal tubes to create this so called spermbots that can be controlled remotely to drive them into eggs to impregnate or deliver drugs to a specific part of the body. Oliver Schmidt, the lead of the research group says that these spermbots doesn’t require any external power source and it’s also harmless to human body.
