Looks like we wont be seeing any more Jaws sequels because the Shark Attack Mitigation Systems (SAMS) have found a way to scare-off sharks for good. They have designed a line of wetsuits that basically create some “confusion for sharks’ visual systems”. So, instead of biting you in the ass, sharks will swim away thinking that you’re going to eat it.

A research made by the Oceans Institute have found evidence to believe that sharks see in black and white. After collaborating with this university, SAMS found a way to translate “scientific data into a range of shark deterrent designs.” According to the company, “vision is the crucial sense in the final stage of an attack. By disrupting a shark’s visual perception, an attack can either be diverted altogether or at least delayed to allow time to exit the water.” And these wetsuits will make it seem like “the wearer as potentially dangerous and unpalatable to a shark, or make it very difficult for the shark to see the wearer in the water.”

Still don’t believe it? Then, watch the video.
