You’ll be seeing a lot of these in your Instagram account from now on because Facebook has just announced a new feature for its’ recently acquired photo sharing platform, Instagram that will blow away Vine forever.

Starting today, users of Instagram gets to upload 15-second long video clips alongside photos, with the ability to edit and style them with  13 different custom video filters. This gives the ability for Instagram to directly compete with popular video-sharing app Vine. And we already know who the winner is as Instagram has a bigger audience than Vine with the ability to share photos. The only difference is that those clips will only be appearing on Facebook than Twitter. But the video filters on Instagram will give it the edge on this battle.

New Instagram app with upgraded features is now available for iOS and Android. The Android version of the app only works with Android 4.0 ICS and above only, at the moment. Check out the intro video for more info.
