One hair care brand that I totally love is Satthwa. I know you are not surprised hearing this because I have suggested satthwa premium hair oil countless times to you guys in the past. Here I am with a review on their newly launched Satthwa Anti-dandruff Shampoo.
I have also reviewed their argan oil shampoo on which I had mixed thoughts. Keep on reading to know if their Anti-dandruff shampoo is a HIT for me or not?

Product description
Our anti-dandruff shampoo is made from the goodness of Argan oil, Almond oil, Jojoba oil etc and is also infused with essential oils like Lemon oil and Tea Tree oil. These natural ingredients will keep your scalp nourished while being tough on dandruff.
We have used 100% pure Tea Tree essential oil (Melaleuca oil) which is known for its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties & Lemon oil which is known to fight dandruff since ages. Together they help fight dandruff and nourish your scalp.
My experience with satthwa Anti-dandruff shampoo
How is the packaging?
So this shampoo comes in a see-through plastic bottle with a pump. The pump was dismantled and the bottle was completely sealed when it arrived. I liked this particular part of their packaging. Because there are times the pump attached to the bottle doesn’t function properly due to some damage during transportation.
Over I will give full marks to the packaging.
How is color and fragrance of Satthwa Anti-dandruff Shampoo
Inside the bottle, it is pastel green in color but when you pump out the product, it is colorless **at least to my eyes**
The fragrance of this satthwa shampoo is a mix of lemon and other ingredients. It doesn’t smell the best when sniffed just like that (anyway why would we sniff a shampoo. We are going to wash off 
) After washing the hair, leaves a mild good fragrance on the hair.
How is Consistency & formulation?
It has a runny consistency. The shampoo contains argan oil & essential oils that would fight dandruff and is free from sulphate & paraben. It doesn’t lather much and since I heavily oil my hair, I require almost 9 to 10 pumps.
As I said it is already runny in consistency but if you dilute it further with water and use, it lathers medium-ly. I think one bottle will last up to 10 washes if your hair length is approximately 2 inches above your hip.
How is this Satthwa Anti-dandruff Shampoo? Does it work on dandruff?
Before actually diving into its effectiveness let me give you my hair details.
My Hair: Straight, silky naturally (Thanks to God & my genes
) I was facing some serious dandruff and at the right time, this shampoo came into my life.
I was dealing with dandruff literally like if I rub my hair on the second or third day after shampooing, white powdery dandruff would fall off on my clothes. Never faced this kind of dandruff for the longest years.
The regular shampoo (Arnica) which I used to use decided to ditch me at the main moment as the brand changed their formulation. Then with high hopes, I started using this. And to my surprise, 90% of my dandruff vanished after 4 to 5 washes
Ok, I Didn’t use the shampoo alone, I oiled my hair really well with satthwa hair oil (using it for 2 years now) a night before shampooing and then washed my hair with satthwa Anti-dandruff Shampoo. So does this shampoo works? It totally WORKED FOR ME and to be honest I didn’t expect it to work in just 4 to 5 washes. This is my current hair care routine.
I mean I had hopes that it would work but I never thought that it would help me get rid of severe dandruff just in 2 weeks. Oh yeah, I wash my hair twice a week which means it worked for me in 2 to 2 and a half weeks.
How does the hair feel after wash?
The satthwa oil & shampoo combination was hydrating enough for me to even skip conditioner. The shampoo is hydrating and at times I skipped conditioner to check its hydrating property. Since my hair is soft it worked well without conditioner too. But if you have dry hair then please follow it up with a conditioner.
The shampoo doesn’t weigh your hair down and neither accentuate the damaged hairs.
This shampoo claims to fight dandruff and stands so damn true to its claim. I would like to make it clear that this shampoo only claims and helps in getting rid of dandruff and not hair fall.

If you’re dealing with dandruff (mild or severe) give this a shot. This shampoo helped me get rid of 90% of severe dandruff in just 2 weeks. I am totally blown away with this product and would highly recommend you to try. I would say this is by far the best anti-dandruff shampoo I have ever tried.
