Only 10 days left until the release of the most-anticipated Windows 8 operating system. Ahead of the launch, Samsung took the wraps off of their latest Windows 8 Ultrabooks, notebooks, tablets and ”Smart PCs”. The most attractive ATIV Smart PCs managed to steal the attention as they came in two models Pro 700T and the 500T. Both these devices can be used as a notebook and a tablet because the screen can be easily detached from the keyboard.
According to The Verge, The new Smart PC 500T will sport an Atom Z2760 processor along with 11.6-inch display, 2GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, while The Smart PC Pro 700T gets powered with Core i5 processor, 11.6-inch display, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Samsung promises “a full PC experience” with these two device. And they also features the S-Pen technology and will get tagged with a price between $749.99 – $1,199.99.
In addition to the amazing couple of Smart PCs, Samsung also unveiled another new 13-inch Series 5 Ultra Touch Windows 8 ultrabook, which packs a Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM and 500GB hard drive. It will head out for $809.99.
Still no official word on the release dates of these devices. But the Amazon product page shows the release date to be October 26, 2012. It’s the same date of the Windows 8 OS release.
