Samsung has just reported a record Q3 profit of 10.2 trillion won (about $9.6 billion) in its’ quarterly sales, according to Tech Crunch. Although the secret behind its success is not something to be proud of because the company is now being accused of attacking rival companies in online forums.

How embarrassing. First, Samsung got caught advertising on pirate websites in Ukraine and now the company has been slammed with a $340,000 fine for hiring people to promote their products in online forums by posting fake comments. The Verge reports that Samsung has hired a large number of writers to criticize and post negative comments about rival products in order to promote Samsung devices. HTC has claimed themselves to be the main victim of this attack.

This is not the first time Samsung used a shameful, childish way to promote their products. Earlier this year, Samsung admitted that it hired college students to bash HTC online. It seems like Apple is the only company that doesn’t try to show their products to be better than others. I guess that because these companies make it so obvious to everyone.
