Samsung has made an announcement that the electronics giant will introduce a compact camera and smartphone mashup called Samsung Galaxy K Zoom featuring 10x optical zoom. The device looks like a replica of Galaxy S4 Zoom but much more smarter and with advanced features.
It will be recalled that Galaxy S4 Zoom was a huge success for Samsung and the tech company now wanted to replicate the success with a more compact design and plenty of smart camera features.
On the camera side of Samsung Galaxy K Zoom we have the 10x optical zoom lens sitting in front of a 20.7-megapixel sensor. It offers optical image stabilisation and a full range of compact camera specifications, including a dedicated imaging chip to handle your photographs.

On the flip side you have a 4.8-inch 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED display, backed by a hexa-core Samsung Exynos processor and 2GB of RAM, and running Android KitKat with Samsung’s normal TouchWiz interface over the top.
It will offer you all the normal features you’d expect from a modern smartphone, such as NFC and Samsung’s S Health fitness tracking software.
The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom will be available from the end of May in black, white and blue. Pricing is yet to be confirmed.
