Turtle Beach has announced the Xbox One Headset Adapter for audio headsets will not be ready for the console’s launch and will not be released by Microsoft until until early next year.Microsoft will require these to be used with all non-Microsoft headsets, apparently.
The peripheral maker’s Xbox One headsets won’t make launch either, but will instead be released during Q1 of 2014, and will include the adapter, per CVG.
