Watch Dogs has been delayed to Spring 2014, and seeing as the game came bundled with select PS4 deals, a lot of buyers are concerned over their pre-orders. With me being one of those concerned, seeing as how I pre-ordered the Watch Dogs bundle from Amazon. Several retailers have issued statements and spoken with the press about the issue and some of them have offered alternatives to Ubisoft’s title.
Amazon was first to clear the air over on Twitter and through its Facebook hub with a statement that reads, “For those of you who pre-order the Watch Dogs PlayStation 4 bundle—don’t worry—you will still be getting your Playstation 4 (without Watch Dogs) based on your current delivery estimate. We are adjusting the orders now and will update you once we know more.”
Amazon has said it plans to honor all Watch Dogs bundles this November,and to stay tuned for more updates.
GameStop has said it too will be honoring the pre-order bundles, and will be contacting customers who had either the PS4 or Xbox One versions pre-ordered.
