S&S; News: GTA 5 PC Hinted at for Fall release during Nvidia investor call Grand Theft Auto 5 was name-dropped for a potential Fall release during a recent Nvidia investor call.
Videogamer picked up on something said during the call which might suggest that GTA 5 is coming to PC this Fall.
Nvidia’s senior director of investor relations Chris Evenden said, “The PC market is evolving as entry level laptops face pressure from tablets. Yet sales of speciality PCs like gaming systems and work stations continue to grow. The disparity reflects how consumers use these different classes of PCs. Many consumers look for PC as a general purpose device they can use for browsing, email, social media and video.
“But much of this can be better served by a tablet. In contrast, gamers are preparing their systems for a strong roster of games coming this fall, including blockbuster franchises, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Assassin’s Creed 4.”
We know that Rockstar has been hiring staff to help bring the company’s titles to PC, and with GTA 5 PC petitions getting a lot of support, so PC gamers might be getting a port sooner than expected.  GTA V will be releasing on September 17 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
