It has been confirmed that Sam Smith will offcially to perfom the theme song to the upcoming building “James Bond: Spectre.” Written by Smith and Jimmy Napes, the track “Writing’s on the Wall” marks the first time since 1965’s “Thunderball” that the James Bond theme song has been performed by a British male solo artist.
The song will officially debute on September 25th, which is only a few weeks away. Sam Smith wrote on his instagram, “This is one of the highlights of my career. I am honoured to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song. I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations. I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it.
